Aspen Meadows Resort Wedding

Aspen Meadows Resort Wedding

A lot of things converged to make September 27th unique. The aspen trees at Maroon Bells were at their peak color, a fleeting occurrence with Colorado’s unpredictable weather. The total lunar eclipse that evening coincided with a supermoon. And Tai and Stephen exchanged their wedding vows in Aspen. Continue reading →

Spruce Mountain Ranch Wedding

Spruce Mountain Ranch Wedding

I had the sense this weekend that Colorado was rolling out the red carpet for all the Great American Beer Festival visitors. The sky was blue with a few white fluffy clouds, the temperature was perfect–not too hot, not too cold–and a light breeze rustled through the grass. It all combined for the kind of day everyone hopes they have on their wedding. Luckily for Brittany and Bryan, their Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding took place this weekend at the sprawling cattle ranch and event venue in Larkspur. Continue reading →

Chatfield Botanic Gardens Wedding

Chatfield Botanic Gardens Wedding

Last weekend, we returned to Littleton for Ashley and Tim’s late summer wedding at Chatfield Botanic Gardens. The weather was beautiful and the lush scenery perfectly complemented their relaxed celebration. Surrounded by their friends and family, the couple exchanged vows in the Open Air Chapel with dramatic views of the foothills. Continue reading →

Maine Wedding in Ogunquit

Maine Wedding in Ogunquit

Lindsey and Jake’s wedding ended up being the perfect example of how weddings have a life of their own and refuse to follow plans carefully made by mere humans. Nevertheless, Lindsey and Jake were the perfect example of how, as a couple, to best navigate the day with poise. When all was said and done, the only thing that mattered to them was that they got married. Continue reading →

Copper Mountain Wedding

Copper Mountain Wedding

Copper Mountain holds a special place in Shantel and Matt’s hearts. Shantel grew up skiing at Copper and it’s where she taught Matt how to ski. She gave him some strong motivation, too. When they started dating, she told him that if he wanted to see her at all during the winter, he’d have to learn how to ski. Continue reading →

Wildlife Experience Wedding

Wildlife Experience Wedding

Wearing earrings picked out by her groom and her second wedding dress in two days, Bridgett walked down the aisle at the Wildlife Experience in Parker, CO, for their American ceremony. Even at the tail end of an event-packed week, Bridgett and Jay couldn’t help but radiate happiness as they exchanged vows in front of the fountain. Continue reading →

Hindu Wedding in Pueblo

Hindu Wedding in Pueblo

When we met with Bridgett and Jay, they told us that they would be having both a Hindu and an American ceremony. We’re old hats at the traditional American weddings. We know the customary details. We know the usual suspects in the wedding party. And we can recite a ceremony and reception timeline in our sleep. Continue reading →

Chatfield Botanic Gardens / Studios at Overland Crossing Wedding

Chatfield Botanic Gardens / Studios at Overland Crossing Wedding

We hit a record this weekend with our largest wedding party to date! Though it was tough to get an accurate count during the busy day, the program showed 30 attendants. We started the day at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens in Littleton with a first look between Bethany, Chris, and their new family addition, baby Jack. Continue reading →

Black Canyon Inn Wedding

Black Canyon Inn Wedding

This past weekend took us up to beautiful Estes Park for Kristen and Russell’s Black Canyon Inn wedding. Despite being close to downtown Estes Park, the secluded property feels like it’s in a world of its own. Continue reading →

Evergreen Lake House Wedding

Evergreen Lake House Wedding

After our whirlwind start, we had some downtime to edit photos. Or rather, Jesse edited photos and I kept him supplied with samples of the microbrews we picked up during our travels. We recharged ourselves and the many batteries it takes to power our equipment and got ready to head for our Evergreen Lake House wedding. The weather promised to be sunny, a welcome change from weeks of daily rainstorms. Continue reading →
