Best of 2024

It’s that time of year once again! Now that Christmas has passed, we have taken the time to sit down and go back through our past 12 months of weddings and engagement sessions to pick out our best wedding photos of 2024.

It’s hard to believe, but this year marked our 17th year as full-time wedding photographers. During that time, we’ve photographed approximately 250 weddings in 13 states and three countries. This year saw us back at some of our all-time favorite venues, as well as a few new ones.

We started with Lacey and Josh’s Black Canyon Inn wedding in February. We had the honor of photographing the first ever wedding at BCI’s Boulders venue in 2020 and have been back more than 20 times since, including three more weddings in 2024. We also made it back to one of our old favorites, The Greenbriar Inn in Boulder, and photographed our first wedding at Chatfield Farms in nearly 10 years.

Some new additions this year were Taharaa Mountain Lodge and Skyview at Fall River Village in Estes Park, Echo Mountain and Blackstone Rivers Ranch near Idaho Springs, and Pinecrest Weddings & Event Center in Palmer Lake. And who could forget Laura and Austin’s incredibly fun backyard wedding in Evergreen – one of our all-time wedding day experiences.

Finally, we ended our 2024 wedding calendar with a long road trip to Sisters, Oregon, for Hillary and Todd’s summer camp-style wedding at Lake Creek Lodge. It’s been a while since we’ve photographed a wedding outside of Colorado, and this one was well-worth the trip.

Now that we’ve wrapped up editing on all of our 2024 shoots, we are officially transitioning into conference season, with upcoming engagements in Lyon, France; Medellin, Colombia; Seattle, WA; and Pueblo, CO – and just maybe a workshop or two sprinkled in there as well.

Scroll down to view our best wedding photos of 2024. We wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2025!

I was hanging out near the Mandap before Anika and Mihir’s Lake Tahoe Indian wedding when the officiant came over and struck up a conversation. “Where are you from?” he asked. “Colorado,” I said. He took a beat and said, “There are a million photographers here. Why did they hire you?” I thought about it…

Let’s clear the air first, Sharon and Paul didn’t have a Lionscrest Manor wedding, we just want to get some of that sweet SEO juice. What they did have was so much more impressive, so buckle up! At the beginning of May 24th, Sharon thought she was going to breakfast in downtown Denver. She was…

  • Copper Mountain Wedding

I can’t help it. I obsessively check the weather before a wedding. Probably more than the couple does. Sometimes, it’s because I’m hoping for a few degrees of relief (I’m lookin’ at you, Denver in July). Sometimes, like for Melisa and Sam’s Copper Mountain wedding, it’s just to see if it’s going to rain, snow,…

  • Seattle Wedding

We’re back! We had a lovely two-week pause from photographing weddings, which we used to wrap up post-production on past weddings and do a whole lotta prep work for upcoming weddings (okay, and maybe we fit a brewery or two in there). And then, precisely a day after delivering the final gallery from our first…
