COLORADO WEDDING
PLANNING TIPS

Wedding Planning Doesn’t Have to be Hard.

It’s no secret that planning a wedding can be a full-time job. And when you’re already working a full-time job, that makes two full-time jobs. Nobody has time for that. That’s why we here at J. La Plante Photo have spent years writing informational articles chock-full of Colorado wedding planning tips to help guide you through the entire wedding planning process as efficiently and as painlessly as humanly possible.

Since we’re one of the first vendors couples tend to book after setting their wedding date, we’ve picked up a ton of knowledge over the years when it comes planning weddings. We’ve seen what works, what doesn’t work and we’ve become proficient in helping guide our couples throughout the year-long (or more) process leading up to the big day.

While we photograph weddings all over the United States and abroad, we shoot the majority of our weddings right here in Colorado, so some of these articles are Colorado-centric. Tips for planning mountain weddings, lists of the best wedding venues in Colorado, figuring out contingency plans to cope with the unpredictable weather we have in the Rocky Mountains, that sort of thing.

But the vast majority of the information we’ve laid out below will apply weather you’re planning a wedding in Colorado or California or Italy or anywhere else. We answer questions such as “How much should we pay for wedding photography?” and “How many hours of coverage do we need?” We also provide ideas for unique wedding send offs that don’t involve sparklers, ideas for incorporating your pets into your wedding, and about a million other things. Take some time to peruse our archives of Colorado wedding planning tips. If you have any questions or comments for us or if you have an idea for a topic that we haven’t covered, please reach out to us via email, text, phone, carrier pigeon, Pony Express or any other preferred method of communication!
