Echo Mountain Wedding
Mia and Scott never thought they would get married. And once they decided to get married, they never thought they would have a wedding. Instead, like many couples these days, they were leaning toward an elopement.
Then, after giving it some thought, they realized that they really wanted to share a celebration with their closest friends and family members. After photographing their Echo Mountain wedding last month, we can confidently say that their day stayed true to the spirit of their original plan. The guest list was small. The vibe was casual. And the views were epic.
And, the level of personalization was on another level. The song that Mia walked down the aisle to was composed specifically for their wedding and referenced experiences the couple shared in the past. The flowers in the bouquet were grown in their own garden. Mia’s step-dad acted as the ceremony officiant. Their super chill dog, Walle, was dressed to the nines and participated as an attendant. And their rainbow color theme permeated every detail of the entire day, from reception decor to the wedding party’s outfits and even fingernails.
Add to that the nacho bar during cocktail hour, the taco bar for dinner and two delicious signature cocktails, this Echo Mountain wedding was one for the books.
Mia and Scott, thank you so much for including us in your wedding day. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and were so happy to get to work at Echo Mountain for the first time. Cheers!
VENUE SPOTLIGHT
Echo Mountain is one of Colorado’s smallest ski resorts, but it’s also the closest to Denver. And the views are absolutely incredible. This means that you can have an iconic Rocky Mountain backdrop for your wedding without having to ask your guests to make a long trek into the mountains. Heck, you don’t even need to set foot on I-70 to get to Echo, which any Coloradoan can tell you, is a massive perk.
