Estes Park Wedding at the Boulders
We’re back after a three-month break from blogging while we made our way through the busiest part of our 2025 wedding season. Now it’s time to see what we’ve been up to since August. First up: Madi and Drew’s super fun Estes Park wedding at The Boulders!
As those who have been following us already know, we photographed the first ever wedding at the Boulders way back in October of 2020. It was an honor to break the seal on one of Colorado’s most spectacular wedding venues, but it was also during the height of the pandemic. As a result, the inaugural event at The Boulders was what we would describe as a micro-wedding (only 20-25 people total). Not that this is a bad thing! Small weddings are fun too.
Since that day five years ago, we’ve had the pleasure of being back to The Boulders more than 20 times, for weddings big and small and everything in between.
Nowadays, events at the venue tend to be big, blowout affairs, and Madi and Drew’s wedding day was no exception. The pair partied late into the night thanks to the sounds of DJ Manos, who did not disappoint.
Madi and Drew, thanks again to you both for choosing us to document your wedding day; we had an absolute blast!
QUICK TIP
Hat bars are super fun. That’s it. That’s the tip.
Maybe it’s because we live on a ranch now. Maybe it’s because a hat bar gives your guests something fun to do during cocktail hour (other than drink, which is fun too). Or maybe it’s the novelty of it. After all, we had never seen a hat bar at a wedding prior to 2025.
Regardless of the reason, if your wedding theme is “western,” the hat bar will make for a cool addition.
