New for 2024
A different approach to learning
Since its inception in 2021, the goal of Fusion has been to gain new skills, knowledge and inspiration from other photographers and to fuse those takeaways with your own artistic process.
This year, we’re taking it a step further. After the full La Plante and Cardona workshops, each attendee will give their own short talk, presentation or demonstration on a topic of their choosing.
Do you have a specific shooting, lighting or posing technique in which you excel? Or a certain post-production or workflow tip that could benefit others? How about ideas for staying inspired? How do you market your business or provide your couples with an amazing client experience?
The list of potential topics is endless: lighting

Ok, but how much?
We get it. Times are tough out there.
For the past three years, tuition for the Fusion Workshop has been $2000. However, we recognize that our industry has been struggling recently, so this year we’re offering a $750 instant rebate for each attendee. The only requirement is that you provide us with a 15-minute mini-masterclass on a topic of your choice.

meet Jesse + Moira
your hosts for the workshop + stand-up comedians
Jesse and Moira La Plante are Colorado-based photographers who have been shooting weddings since 2008. They first met in the Bahamas on spring break when Jesse (allegedly) offered to buy Moira a drink at an all-inclusive resort. Shortly after that fateful trip, the pair moved to Colorado, started their wedding photography business and never looked back.
In 2022, Jesse was named Fearless Top 100, ISPWP Top 100 and (along with Moira) This is Reportage “Photographer of the Year.” When not photographing weddings, he can be found skiing, eating copious amounts of tacos and/or working on his beer belly at one of Colorado’s many outstanding craft breweries.
After graduating from Georgetown University with a business degree, Moira honed her problem-solving skills by working in many different arenas – from academia to atmospheric science research to entrepreneurship – before migrating to the wedding industry. When not figuring out how to do the impossible, she can be found with her nose in a book or devising ways to spend more time around puppies.
