Grand Hyatt Denver Wedding
I love going into a wedding already knowing that the couple is game for just about anything. This was exactly the case for Tova and Aaron’s Grand Hyatt Denver wedding, because not every couple will hike up the Great Sand Dunes in formal wear for the sole purpose of capturing epic Alt Session photos!
It’s easy to tell how perfect Tova and Aaron are for each other. Separately, they’re both incredibly kind and intelligent people, and when they’re together, they smile constantly and laugh easily. As soon as you meet them, they’ll put you at ease and make you feel like you’ve known them for years. It’s no wonder, then, that they have a community around them that’s both large and yet close-knit at the same time. They’re always up for an adventure and didn’t balk when we asked them to walk almost a mile down to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House for photos. Because what’s a mile after you’ve climbed a 750-foot pile of sand?
Now let’s take a moment to talk about their style: Simply timeless. Aaron rocked his tux while Tova’s mermaid hair shimmered almost red in the sunlight. With a mix of classic (check out that blusher!) and modern (her dress has pockets!!), they turned several heads as we strolled downtown Denver for their portrait session.
Back at the 38th floor for their Grand Hyatt Denver wedding ceremony, Tova and Aaron exchanged vows and rings as the sun set over the Rockies. These two were so eager to start their life together that Aaron answered, “I do” before the officiant was finished asking him questions! As I was sorting through their photos, it struck me how many of our images include people with their heads tilted back, mouths wide open and laughing. You cannot fake that kind of joy. And it take two very exceptional people to put together a celebration that elicits that reaction.
Tova and Aaron, we are so thankful you chose us to join you for your wedding day! We hope you’re having an amazing time in Thailand and Japan and I can assure you we’ll be hitting you up for travel recommendations in the coming years.
