July Wedding at Black Canyon Inn
We’ve been photographing weddings for nearly 20 years, which means we always love it when we see something new at a wedding. Something we’ve never seen before. At Tina and Andy’s July wedding at Black Canyon Inn, that thing was a “shitshow of children.”
In talking to Tina leading up to the wedding day, she mentioned that instead of having one flower girl and one ring bearer, she and Andy would be having an entire “shitshow of children” walking down the aisle during the ceremony. This “shitshow” would be comprised mainly of Andy’s grandchildren, who would all be in attendance for the festivities.
The shitshow did not disappoint! Not only did it provide a great photo op as they all walked down the aisle together, but, as kids are wont to do, it also made for great photo moments throughout the day, from getting ready in the morning to the dancefloor at the end of the night.
Best shitshow ever!
Tina and Andy, thank you both so much for having us at your July wedding at Black Canyon Inn. We hope you had a wonderful time in Lake Tahoe, and that you have an even better time in Portugal!
QUICK TIP
Debating whether or not to have kids at your wedding? There are certainly pros and cons, but from a photographer’s perspective the biggest pro is all of the great journalistic photo moments kids create throughout the day. A general rule of thumb: the more kids your have at your wedding, the more you will laugh out loud when you look through your wedding photo gallery.
