Lionsgate Event Center Wedding
A month ago when we got together for Kacey and Chris’s RiNo engagement session, the temps in Colorado were solidly in the perfect-for-rooftop-beers range. Last weekend for their Lionsgate Event Center wedding? Just a bit toastier, at a whopping 100 degrees. But in spite of the heat, Kacey and Chris managed to stay impressively cool.
The ladies used a combination of coffee and vodka to fuel their day and beat the heat. But, in my opinion, that’s precisely what’s called for when you start your day a full five hours before the guys do. Luckily, the early start meant plenty of time to relax, get dolled up, and catch all their favorite episodes of Friends.
The guys, of course, took much less time to get ready than the ladies did. So that gave Chris and his groomsmen lots of time to make use of Lionsgate’s kick-ass groom’s suite. And they may have also managed to find a cooling beverage or two while lounging in the ultimate Man Chair Throne.
And then it was showtime! Their wedding ceremony was short but sweet so that Kacey, Chris, and their guests could get down to the serious business of partying. With good food, strong drinks, and poignant toasts filled with tears of joy, the blazing temperatures were soon forgotten. Everyone in attendance partied until late into the night and made this Lionsgate Event Center wedding one to remember.
Kacey and Chris, thank you so much for the two crazy, fun, awesome and wonderful days we spent together this summer. We can’t wait to meet up again for bacon and whiskey!
