Mon Cheri Wedding

We met Erin and Wade because of a Powerpoint presentation. Erin assembled it to persuade Wade, an analytical type, to book us as their photographers (we hear there were animations involved). And boy are we glad it worked because we got to spend a beautiful Saturday with the couple at their super fun Mon Cheri wedding!

The weather was perfect considering how hot it’s been this summer in Colorado, with big white fluffy clouds turning into a dramatic sunset and cool breezes. The couple exchanged vows by a small lake in front of their closest family and friends. After, while guests enjoyed searching for hidden Mickey Mouses at the reception (Erin is a huge Disney fan), we nailed a perfect “jumping bridal party” shot on the first try. Well… almost the first try.

After a few more portraits of the bride and groom, the highlight of which being one of the most awe-inspiring sunsets we’ve ever had during a wedding, it was time for the party to really start. The night was capped off with dinner, dancing and, of course, plenty of pie.

With their nuptials behind them, Erin and Wade are off to Bali for 17 days and we’re off to a whole slew of late-summer weddings. Stay tuned!

Erin and Wade, thank you so much for entrusting us to capture your beautiful Mon Cheri wedding. We look forward to seeing any and all future Powerpoint presentations!
