Redstone Inn Wedding

One of the best things about owning your own business is getting to make the decisions. We had officially closed our books for 2022 weddings when Shelley and Jonathan reached out to see if we were available for their Redstone Inn Wedding. We had the date open and had never been to Redstone before, so we were certainly intrigued.

After talking to Shelley, we knew it would be a definite yes from us, and so we crossed our fingers that they liked us as much as we liked them. Fortunately, they did. So we added an extra wedding to our calendar, breaking our own rule.

But we are so glad we did! Our first trip to Redstone ensured that we’ll be returning. The town is adorable. The weather was perfect. The pizza restaurant has Pliny the Elder on tap. We could have stayed for another month, drinking in the peace and quiet (and the Pliny).

But even better, Shelley and Jonathan were a dream to work with! They had planned a relaxing weekend cozied up at the Redstone Inn with a small group of their friends and family. Throughout their wedding day, they were laid-back, happy, and open to every photo suggestion we made. If they called us every year after we were fully booked, we’d open up our calendars to them without a second thought!

And let’s not forget the incredible day-after session the Crystal Mill (see photos at the bottom of this post).

Shelley and Jonathan, thank you so much for trusting us to capture your wedding. We hope you had an amazing trip to Costa Rica and that you got some time to unplug and explore!
