Sonnenalp Club Wedding
Jen and Robert are the kind of world travelers that Jesse and I aspire to be. They’ve been to every continent except Antarctica and I have no doubt that they’ll be checking that box soon. So Colorado, take it as a HUGE compliment that they decided to have their intimate winter wedding at the Sonnenalp Club!
What struck me most about Jen and Robert was how their relaxed energy managed to permeate the entire celebration. Far too often, wedding days are a mixture of nerves and stress directed at details that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of life. There was none of this for Jen and Robert. Instead, they focused on what was important to them and let everything else roll right off their backs, which is the single best thing a couple getting married can do to fully enjoy their wedding day.
My second favorite thing about the couple, though, is how well they rocked Pit Vipers and formal wear at the same time. ‘Murica! And, of course, we had to incorporate them into Jen and Robert’s wedding portraits.
A hearty dinner by the fireplace followed their short and sweet ceremony on the Sonnenalp Club deck. Then the newlyweds and their guests hit the dance floor to the spinnings of DJ Jay One and partied into the night. When all was said and done, this Sonnenalp Club wedding was one to remember.
Jen and Robert, can I reiterate how jealous I am that you’ll be relaxing in the Maldives on your honeymoon?! (Especially since, as I write this post, the snow is dumping on us here in Colorado!) Thank you for trusting us to capture your day and trudging through the snow with us!
