Spring Wedding at The Boulders

Weather in the Rockies can be confusing, even to those of us who have lived here for a while. Take Eva and Joe’s spring wedding at the Boulders, for example.

The week leading up to their wedding had sunny and warm weather. But the day of the wedding called for several inches of snow. Luckily, with the weather attempting to warm up, we were blessed with the type of big fluffy snowflakes that make you feel like you’re in a snow globe.

We were even more fortunate, because the low-lying clouds decided to show us a little peek of blue sky right in the middle of Eva and Joe’s ceremony! The cooler temps helped out later in the evening when the dance party heated up. Partiers would take a break outside in the snow to cool down before heading back inside to tear up the dance floor.

Eva and Joe, thank you so much for trusting us to capture your wedding day! And for believing in our ability to make a scene look epic, even if the weather wants to be fickle. We hope you’ve enjoyed your first week of marriage and can’t wait to share your full gallery soon!

When Taryn and Tim started planning their Acreage wedding, Taryn asked me a question that I love to get asked by couples: What can we do to make your job easier? My answer is always the same. Be as type-A and detail-oriented as your heart desires during the planning. But on the actual wedding day,…

Kirsten and Mike’s mixed martial arts engagement session was a wonderfully collaborative experience. • Crooked Willow Farms Wedding

Kirsten and Mike are a beautiful anomaly. They’re charming and friendly, but could easily kick your ass. They don’t call attention to themselves, yet you can’t help but notice them. And they’re just as comfortable wielding a bow as they are riding a horse. Their Crooked Willow Farms Wedding was no different. Kirsten and Mike…
