Spring Wedding at The Boulders
Weather in the Rockies can be confusing, even to those of us who have lived here for a while. Take Eva and Joe’s spring wedding at the Boulders, for example.
The week leading up to their wedding had sunny and warm weather. But the day of the wedding called for several inches of snow. Luckily, with the weather attempting to warm up, we were blessed with the type of big fluffy snowflakes that make you feel like you’re in a snow globe.
We were even more fortunate, because the low-lying clouds decided to show us a little peek of blue sky right in the middle of Eva and Joe’s ceremony! The cooler temps helped out later in the evening when the dance party heated up. Partiers would take a break outside in the snow to cool down before heading back inside to tear up the dance floor.
Eva and Joe, thank you so much for trusting us to capture your wedding day! And for believing in our ability to make a scene look epic, even if the weather wants to be fickle. We hope you’ve enjoyed your first week of marriage and can’t wait to share your full gallery soon!
The team at the Black Canyon Inn put a lot of thought into making the Boulders into a stress-free wedding venue. From the indoor/outdoor ceremony area that ensures you have an amazing view regardless of the weather to making sure you have plenty of room for all your activities (no need to break down tables in order to have a dance floor), they thought of everything you’d need. It also doesn’t hurt that they have amazing food and a friendly staff!
