Spruce Mountain Lower Ranch Wedding

When I first talked to Anaeli and Patric about what they most wanted us to capture at their Spruce Mountain Lower Ranch wedding, both of them agreed: they wanted to look back at the photos and see themselves madly in love and having the time of their lives.

But having the time of your life manifests itself in different ways. There are the obvious, like lighting up the dance floor with all your closest friends and family. Or an emotional first look with the father of the bride. Or walking down the aisle surrounded by your closest family and friends.

With Anaeli and Patric, though, it was even more clear in the quiet moments that they were living their best day ever. Whenever they were together, it didn’t matter how many people were around them, they were in their own little world. Population 2. Or 3, rather, because we who could possibly forget Odin (the Magnificent, the Grand Poobah, the Reason for the Day), their son and the absolute light of their lives?

While poor Odin wasn’t feeling his best on the wedding day and there were some tears shed (it’s no fun to be sick at a wedding), his face would always light up as soon as he saw his parents. And throughout the chaos that’s an inevitable part of every wedding, these three would find peace in each other and soak in every moment. You really can’t ask for much more out of life than that.

Anaeli and Patric (and Odin), thank you for making our jobs easy by being madly in love and having the time of your life! We enjoyed working with you so much and we’ve been enjoying the whiskey you shared with us. Hopefully we can get together for a drink in-person after our wedding season slows!
