Shupe Homestead Wedding

Shupe Homestead Wedding

As we were closing out our final nighttime shoot of our last wedding of the season, Samantha (the bride), remarked on how much fun she was having and how she wished she could spend all her time taking photos. Looking around at the tranquil Shupe Homestead wedding and reflecting on the past season, it occurred to me:  yeah, we’ve got a pretty sweet gig here. Continue reading →

Spruce Mountain Ranch Wedding

Spruce Mountain Ranch Wedding

I had the sense this weekend that Colorado was rolling out the red carpet for all the Great American Beer Festival visitors. The sky was blue with a few white fluffy clouds, the temperature was perfect–not too hot, not too cold–and a light breeze rustled through the grass. It all combined for the kind of day everyone hopes they have on their wedding. Luckily for Brittany and Bryan, their Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding took place this weekend at the sprawling cattle ranch and event venue in Larkspur. Continue reading →

Surrounded by their friends and family, the couple exchanged vows in the Open Air Chapel with dramatic views of the foothills. Continue reading →

Wearing earrings picked out by her groom and her second wedding dress in two days, Bridgett walked down the aisle at the Wildlife Experience in Parker, CO, for their American ceremony. Black Canyon Inn Wedding

Black Canyon Inn Wedding

This past weekend took us up to beautiful Estes Park for Kristen and Russell’s Black Canyon Inn wedding. Despite being close to downtown Estes Park, the secluded property feels like it’s in a world of its own. Continue reading →

Evergreen Lake House Wedding

Evergreen Lake House Wedding

After our whirlwind start, we had some downtime to edit photos. Or rather, Jesse edited photos and I kept him supplied with samples of the microbrews we picked up during our travels. We recharged ourselves and the many batteries it takes to power our equipment and got ready to head for our Evergreen Lake House wedding. The weather promised to be sunny, a welcome change from weeks of daily rainstorms. Continue reading →

Brook Forest Inn Wedding

Brook Forest Inn Wedding

We first met Yvette and Josh at Seanee and Jeremy’s wedding last summer (Josh and Seanee are twins). Seanee had hinted a couple of times that Josh was about to propose, so we were very excited when they contacted us to see if we’d photograph their wedding Brook Forest Inn wedding. Not only was it in a beautiful historic venue, but knowing half of the family already, we knew it was going to be a great party. Continue reading →
