Breckenridge Nordic Center Wedding

If you were on Carly and Elliot’s guest list for their Breckenridge Nordic Center wedding, you are a very lucky person.

First off, you got to make a trip to Breckenridge on a beautiful holiday weekend. You enjoyed the bluebird skies, the warmth of the sun, and the crisp, cool evening. Not to mention the tasty food, plethora of fun drinks, and just about whatever dessert your heart desired.

You were also treated to the best Seltzer Boy we’ve seen in our 15 years as wedding photographers. And Napali, the absolute goodest girl and my new best friend.

But mostly, you’re lucky beyond compare because you have Carly and Elliot in your lives. These two bring happiness and laughter everywhere they go. They listen with their full attention. They make everyone they come into contact with feel like you’ve been friends for a lifetime. They approach every day like the new adventure it is.

While I wouldn’t be surprised if their guest list could have ballooned into the hundreds, simply because of how magnetic these two are, they kept their celebration small. Which means that everyone there holds a special place in their hearts – and I can’t think of a greater compliment.

Carly and Elliot, that goes for us, too. We are so incredibly honored to have shared your wedding day with you! Even if we did all end up with sunburns. (Worth it!)

When Katherine and Ben reached out to us over a year ago about photographing their Arapahoe Basin wedding, we were excited out of the gates. After 14 years of photographing weddings, we’ve been to a lot of wedding venues. But there are still a lot more on our “want to photograph” list and A-Basin was one of them.

  • Steel Horse Wedding

Jesse and I first learned of Steel Horse weddings when we left the buzz of city life for the raven calls of rural living. One of the side effects we were hoping to experience was a bit more disconnection from the digital world so many of us get sucked into these days. However, we have…
