Pueblo Engagement Session

Erica and Anthony tried really, really hard to get married in Colorado. But COVID had other plans for them. Then we tried again to do a one-year anniversary session. But Hurricane Ian had different plans for them this time around. So we hoped that the third time would be a charm and scheduled a Pueblo engagement session for them in December last year. (Ok, it was really an engagement session, but no on searched on Google for a post-wedding session and we gotta play the SEO game.)

And as with most photo sessions that don’t work out exactly as we had planned, it ended up being way better.

Since moving, Jesse and I have enjoyed exploring all the hidden gem locations in our new area that no one seems to know about yet. Luckily, some of those spots are at our own house! So when we invited Erica and Anthony to join us down south for the third try at their photo session, we knew we’d have the chance to show off our new neck of the woods.

The patience was worth it! Even though it came two years after the original plan, Erica and Anthony’s session had all the impressive Colorado scenery you could ask for: mountains, lakes, and an innumerable amount of stars.

Erica and Anthony, thank you for sticking with it! I know how heartbreaking it was for us each time the universe intervened and we had to cancel. We’re so happy everything worked out in the end! (Extra thanks for braving the nighttime cold to get star photos.)
