Brook Forest Inn Wedding

Brook Forest Inn Wedding

We first met Yvette and Josh at Seanee and Jeremy’s wedding last summer (Josh and Seanee are twins). Seanee had hinted a couple of times that Josh was about to propose, so we were very excited when they contacted us to see if we’d photograph their wedding Brook Forest Inn wedding. Not only was it in a beautiful historic venue, but knowing half of the family already, we knew it was going to be a great party. Continue reading →

The Pines at Genesee Wedding

The Pines at Genesee Wedding

For our last wedding of the year, we headed up I-70 in unseasonably warm December weather for Kendra and Heath’s 12/13/14 Pines at Genesee winter wedding. I don’t know how she did it, but Kendra managed to keep a pretty big secret up until the day of the wedding. Continue reading →

The Ranch Country Club Wedding

The Ranch Country Club Wedding

This year, we’re thankful for all the wonderful couples we’ve met during the past six wedding seasons. Included in this list are Jamie and Mike, whose Westminster Ranch Country Club wedding we photographed last weekend. Though the day was windy, Colorado didn’t fail to give us a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and party. Continue reading →

Cheesman Park Elopement

Cheesman Park Elopement

With just a few days to shake the sand from Mexico out of our suitcases, we turned right around to photograph Lindsay and Ben’s Cheesman Park elopement in Denver. Just a short distance from their new home, they said their vows in front of their pooch and Lindsay’s father before spending some time with us photographing at the park and the Denver Botanic Gardens next door. Check out a handful of our favorite photos below: Continue reading →

Playa Paraiso Wedding

Playa Paraiso Wedding

What do traditional Mayan dancers, a magician named Mago Danny, a groom passed out on the beach, and a newlywed couple jumping in the ocean in their wedding attire have in common? We got photos of them all at Theresa and Bob’s Playa Paraiso wedding last weekend in Mexico.

Della Terra Wedding

Della Terra Wedding

There’s no better way to spend the end of our busy season than photographing Megan and Henry’s breathtaking Della Terra wedding, located at a beautiful mountain lodge tucked away near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park? The venue was a perfect complement to their earlier downtown engagement photo session. Continue reading →

Wild Basin Lodge Wedding

Wild Basin Lodge Wedding

With one day of rest (and football!), we headed into the mountains for Kim and Julie’s Wild Basin Lodge wedding. We were thrilled to be back at the Lodge for the first time since we photographed Catherine and Greg’s wedding almost four years ago; if you’ve never been, it’s worth a stay on your next visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. Denver Foothills Wedding

Denver Foothills Wedding

We had two weddings this weekend, keeping us quite busy–but also resulting in a lot of wonderful photos of happy people! Starting on Saturday, we headed down to Golden for Lizzie and Zach’s Denver foothills wedding at Bear Creek Lake Park. Continue reading →

Stonebrook Manor Wedding

Stonebrook Manor Wedding

After a busy Sunday at the Rocky Mountain Bridal Show, we turned right around this week to photograph Mallory and Paul’s Stonebrook Manor wedding on Monday. And we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. With some careful coordination, we were able to get some photos of Mallory and her bridesmaids (and Paul with the girls!) ahead of time, without the couple seeing each other. They did have contact before the ceremony, however, in the form of a note on the soles of Mallory’s shoes and another note passed to Paul by one of the bridesmaids. Continue reading →

Leadville Wedding

Leadville Wedding

Both being science educators, Mike and Stacy found plenty of ways to express their passion for nature during their Leadville wedding this past weekend, with a rustic ceremony setting at the base of Mt. Massive, woodsy decor featuring photos of their various adventures, and a celestial tie for the groom. Not to mention, Mike’s ring was made of copper, while Stacy’s was constructed from a meteorite.
